Department Society

The history society is the cultural body of the students of department. The society, formerly known as Spartacus, however, renamed in 2021 as ‘Kaalkram’ tends to provide a community platform to the students, where they can learnthe team spirit andleadership quality. The society organises various cultural programmes including Fresher’s Welcome and Farewell. The annual festival of society is the major event of attraction and enthusiasm for the students. It is the celebration of their talent and artistry, when the students participate in variety of events such as quiz competition, debate competition, dance and music performances, drama, poster-making and rangoli-making. These extra-curricular activities, in which the history society is instrumental, help in encouraging self-confidence and entrepreneurship skill.
