Department Society

At the very heart of our department is our vibrant student body, “ComSoc”, a team of zealous, talented and enthusiastic individuals brimming with novel ideas. The society strives to create value by ingeniously working academic concepts into stimulating competitions and events. It serves as an engagement platform between the teachers and students of the Department of Commerce beyond the classroom.

The team organizes inter and intra-college events all-round the academic year, attracting participants from Delhi NCR and beyond. These include a variety of Guest Lectures, Career Development Workshops, Symposiums, Industrial Visits, the Annual Commerce Event, ‘Xplore’, and the Annual Commerce Fest of the college, ‘Communique’. ComSoc ideates and organizes these events with great verve and aplomb incorporating the ideas of its new members every year.  Through its efforts and marketing savvy, the society is able to attract distinguished sponsors for its popular events. Through its constant endeavors, ComSoc seeks to take the Department of Commerce and Dyal Singh College to newer heights each year.
