Department Society

Department of Punjabi has a Literary and Cultural society named as “Punjabi Society” which is now more than 25 Years old. The society continuously organizes various literary and cultural activities involving students and for the students. Many International, National and State level seminars have been organised which involved prominent scholars and academicians of various disciplines from all over India. The Society annually held a memorial function in the name of S. S. Vanjara Bedi. Along with that quiz, debate, poetry recitation and Punjabi Drama. The society also organizes study tours for the students of the department. Under the able guidance of the teachers of the department, the students of the department have performed various cultural activities, not only at the college level but also at inter-college and intra-college levels and won various prizes and awards.
